Hello Friends,

A moderate and steady 10-12 kt NNE breeze was already going at 0730 along the Northern Beaches. The MHL data from 0500 showed a touch over a metre of 7-sec ENE wind swell washing into the Sydney region. As the pictures show, surface conditions were choppy but not crazily so and there were knee to waist high bumps coming into the beach and even, occasionally, the point.
Tide’s high at 0830 and will be back to low at 1510. By that stage it’ll be around 30 degrees and the wind should be hammering along at 20-25 kts from the N-NE. Water’s sitting on the 21 mark.
Tomorrow’s forecast is currently for a coastal high temp just shy of the old century mark. Put that together with 15-25 kts of N-NE wind from first light and a slightly bigger NE wind swell and I reckon the lifesavers could be in for a busy day.
Surf quality isn’t going to be too wonderful, but as with the last week, if you’re keen, there should be the odd peak to be had. And, again, more or less, that’s how the next few days are shaping up for the next week at least.
Have a great day and get wet if you can!
