Surf forecast issued Thursday 5 January 2017: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Two Highs and a couple of Lows in the coming week mean a mixed bag of wind… (I think I’ve known a couple of blokes who fit that description)…Mainly light winds will at least settle round to NE NNE after tomorrow for a couple of days before a light Southerly then back to N/NW before a Southerly change Thursday.
The surf won’t be too exciting as a result, but there will be little short period waves to ride at the right tide, right places. At least it won’t be as ordinary as it’s been the last couple of days.
Friday: lower end of the 1-2 metre range East, windblown onshore
Saturday: ditto East North East
Sunday: ditto North North East
Monday: ditto and lazy
Tuesday: about 1 metre North East
Wednesday: about the same
Thursday: starting to show a bit at dead South places.
