A few quick thoughts on the Sydney Sunday situation: looks like you’re in for tiny, gutless conditions today – with NE wind later. Early was overcast with less than a metre of 5-sec E-ESE wind bump coming in. Not a day for surfing in Sydney I’d say. The coming week is not shaping up too well in the forecasts. Could be an extended run of short period ankle to knee high NE wind bump at magnets. Sadly.
Yesterday’s waves in Ventura seem to have faded a fair amount overnight, but if you had a mal and the patience of a saint, there’d be the odd cruisy little line to be had. Getting a parking spot won’t be easy on a sunny Saturday though.
Santa Barbara area is missing out on the swell because it’s just too north to get into this section of coast.
