Tiny east for Sydney this morning

Hello Friends,

At 0530 wind was 6=8 kts from the NE and swell was two metres from the east at 8 seconds apart. Tide was inbound to the 0750 high.
The wind’ll kick up into the 15-20 kt range later and the easterly wind swell should burble along at around the same intensity across the day. Protected NE corners could be in the knee to waist plus-ish range I’d guess, while exposed spots could be waist to shoulder=ish. Quality is likely to be strictly ordinary.
The Goat should be along later with his usual look ahead for the weekend, so I’ll just observe that the models are broadly pointing to a slow decline from today’s peak. Could be a few days of catchable bump and then maybe a run of rest days.
Here in SoCal it’s another grey and drizzly day with generally weak wind swell conditions. Hoping for a couple of days from now…
Have a great day!
