Postcard from Byron
Update on yesterday. .wind eased a bit but was still strong. Lots of sand
at The Pass..none at Wategos which is not breaking even in this swell.
Caught 4 waves in 2 hours..two good ones. ..with the wind, the crowd and
the surge making it hard work. Long paddles, constant paddling, long walk
backs..but long rides making it worthwhile. . Happy after 6 consecutive
days of surfing. I need a rest 😊
