Thursday surf on tap

Hello Friends,
As the pictures show, we have swell this morning – and plenty of it. Sets are overhead by a bit at the point and by a bit more along the beach. Both venues were rather busy with the Easter Hols crowds. Wind was light WSW at 0700 and according to the forecast should be a mix of S-SW but not too vigorous later. Tide’s high a 1.5m at 0935 and back to low at 1530. The MHL buoy was reporting 2.5m of 10sec SSE swell. There should be waves pretty much all day from the look of things. It’ll be interesting to see the Goat’s thoughts later because my reading of the forecasts is that we should have surf into early next week – although the trend is steadily but very gradually downward across the period.
Have a great Thursday one and all!

Another one rolls in at 0700
Set hits the beach at 0700
Lines, lots of lines
Fun size for sizable crowd
Beachy mostly shutting down
