Hello Friends,
Chill to the air and a steady westerly blowing under clear skies when your correspondent climbed aloft to have a look at the ocean for the first time this morning. Alas, as the pics show, Dee Why is, if anything, smaller than this time yesterday. The MHL data from 0500 showed a metre of 10-sec SE bump. High tide is 1.6 metres at 0830.
Prospects for Dee Why are not looking fabulous for today or tomorrow. I’d say finding something in the knee plus range would be doing well.
As for the week ahead, well, may I refer you to the Goat who has, as always, rolled out the charts and taken a look at our prospects.
I’m making a run to Manly this morning, so if I see anything of interest I’ll follow this up with an update.

A southwest to southeasterly flow over the waters, established by a high pressure system will tend north to northeasterly on Sunday as the high moves east over the Tasman Sea. The next south to southwesterly change is expected to develop on the south coast later on Sunday and affect the remainder of the coast on Monday.
