Rainy periods and small wavesmoments

Hello Friends
Bit of a late start today. Had to get friends to the airport, as you do. So, on the way home, had a look at the beach… as you do.
Manly was glassy and very small, maybe ankle to knee for the most part. Couldn’t find a park to go grab a pic, so headed on to Curly. Definitely bigger at Curly, probably in the waist to chest plus range on sets, but while wind wasn’t a factor, the waves were fat and soft for the most part. Plus it was quite busy. Over the hill at Dee Why, the average size was similar to Curly, particularly up toward the Pole. But it too was weak and floppy.
As of noon wind was SSW 13-23 kts at North Head. At 1000 the MHL buoy was recording 2 metres of 6-sec south wind bump. Tide was coming into a 1.5m high at 1510.
By tomorrow morning it looks like we’ll have a low roughly east of Coffs and if the models are right, we could be seeing some serious fun midweek…
Have a great Sunday!
