"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Rest day

Hello Friends,
Yesterday’s early pulse started fading pretty quickly and overnight it’s now dropped to less than a metre from the SE and the NNW isn’t adding anything useful to the equation.
It looks from this morning’s models as though we’ll have to wait until Tuesday for the energy levels to improve again. At this stage the prospects are for short period fairly straight south windswell from that point on through the end of the week.
It’s been a pretty consistent winter, but wave forecast charts like this morning’s remind us that the spring doldrums are getting closer.
Have yourself a great Sunday everyone!

No sign of a wave this morning at Dee Why

Weather Situation
Freshening north to northwesterly winds along the New South Wales coast today ahead of a cold front that will bring a weak southerly change to the south coast late tonight or early on Monday. As the front moves offshore a low pressure system will develop over the southwestern Tasman Sea later on Monday, sending a more vigorous south to southwesterly change along the coast. The low will move rapidly east away from the coast on Tuesday and winds are expected to ease.
