Look around to find a little something

Hello Friends,
Clear skies, winter chill, light NW wind and a tiny, sub-1 metre 12-sec SE swell coming in as the Saturday got started. Tide was a 1.3 metre high at 0640 and is now dropping to the low at 1220. It was too small to surf from Collaroy to North Narrabeen, although there was a little knee high peak trying to happen for a couple of keen punters at the alley. Along the Dee Why to Longy stretch the only surfable waves were the waist high specimens appearing from about No Mans to just north of the Lugga. They were pretty fat and slow looking, so the plan would be to take the mal – or your nearest equivalent.
Should be sunny all day and the wind is expected to ramp up from the W-NW – which probably won’t do the tiny swell any favours…
From the shape of this morning’s run of the models, it looks as though we’re in for nearly flat today followed by a couple of days of flatness before, potentially, a south pulse on Tuesday. But it looks like the energy will stay offshore on the Bureau’s modelling. Still, with any luck we’ll have at least a little something mid week…
Have a top old Saturday everyone!
