Little lines and small waves early

Hello Friends,
Chilly 10kt westerly when I climbed aloft for a look at the surf situation. After starting the day like a millpond, by dusk there were head high sets at the point and maybe a touch bigger on the bombs up the beach. It got to about 2.5 metres out at sea on the peak. The energy levels have dropped back to around 2 metres from the south at a touch under 10 seconds apart. Tide is coming into a 1.4m high at 0915 and as you can see from the pics, the waves were around the waist to maybe chest on the biggest ones at both the point and along the beach.
Should be sunny all day and with luck the little waves should stick around too. Wind should play nice as well, although from around midday it’s supposed to be more SSW.
Outlook is for the wave energy to gradually fade out and be marginal to near flat by Saturday. So, it looks like right now is about as good as it gets until (maybe) early next week.
Have a great Wednesday everyone!

Waist high lines along the beach
