Clean and tiny early

Hello Friends,
As of 0400, the swell was around the metre mark and coming from the SE at 10 seconds. Tide was low at 0555 and will hit a 1.5 m high at 1225. Your correspondent was out and about with the camera a few hours later and as the pictures confirm, energy levels are at a very low ebb this morning. The Collaroy-Narrabeen stretch was hopelessly tiny but there were some ankle to knee and a bit dribblers to be had mainly at the Long Reef end on the Dee Why to Longy stretch. Waves were extremely weak, so it was really more of a paddling exercise than anything else.
There’s no real hope of an improvement for the next 24 hours and even the prospective south change on Friday doesn’t look all that exciting. I’d say we’ll be lucky to see waist to chest onshore junk at the most exposed spots. Mid next week currently looks slightly more hopeful on some of the models for SSE spots. It’ll be interesting to see what the Goat thinks tomorrow.
Have yourself a fine old day everyone!

Weather Situation

This pattern is generating northeasterly winds over most waters, though a weak southerly change has moved through the south coast yesterday and overnight. During Thursday the trough, with a low pressure circulation within it, is expected bring a southeast to southwesterly change as it reaches the coast.
