"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Micro Monday

Hello Friends,

If you found waves yesterday morning, you should look there again today. The swell is a touch smaller and coming more from the ENE than east now. So, expect ankle to knee with maybe the occasional waist bomb at the optimally aligned stretches. Wind was light west under clear skies for the early session, but it’ll go south to SE this afternoon.

Tide’s low at 0935 and then it comes up about 60 cm to the high at 1540 – so obviously not a huge factor. It’ll be a very warm 33° ahead of a late southerly change. Sun protection is advised from 0910 to 1430.

The good news from the models this morning is that it would seem we’re likely to see a slight upward bump on Wednesday and there currently look to be reasonable hopes for knee to waist plus Weds-Fri.

Have a great Monday one and all!

Zippo at the point, but little bump at kiddies 0700
No one hunting the sets like this at No Mans

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards northeast New South Wales, and is directing northeasterly winds along the coast. This high will weaken today as a low passes to the south, with an associated trough delivering a southerly change to southern and central waters. Early tomorrow this change is expected to reach the northern border, bolstered by a new high pressure system moving into the region. Under the influence of this high, a gradual return to northerly winds is forecast later on Tuesday and Wednesday.
