Flabby and tiny Tuesday morning

Hello Friends,

Nothing much happening at the beach this morning. There were a couple of folks on SUPs up toward No Mans when I checked for the first time at around 0640. It looked to be maybe knee high on sets. Surface conditions were lightly choppy. Wind was light from the SW but should drift around to the S-SE for most of the day before turning NE 10-15 kts in the evening.
As of 0500 swell offshore was 2 metres from the SSE at a feeble 8 seconds. Tide is dropping to a 06 m low at 1035 and will be back to a 1.27 m high at 1645. Water is 23°
Weather should be partly cloudy with a high of 24°.
The swell models show the swell energy levels going up overnight and tomorrow the predictions are for around 2 m of 11 second SSE. At the same time the weather should be sunny and wind should north early then going NE later and the Bureau’s hoisted a large and powerful surf warning. The northerlies are set to blow again on Thursday as the swell fades across the day. But, with luck, there should still be a few fun ones for the early on Friday. Right now the weekend isn’t shaping to be too fabulous – but there is considerable variation, so maybe it won’t go flat per the more pessimistic predictions…
Have a top old Tuesday and here’s hoping for tomorrow.

Barely a hint of activity at 0640
