"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Very small but there were bumps early

Hello Friends,

Pretty quiet out there this morning. Solid overcast skies and a light breeze from the SSW as of 0630. The MHL data from 0500 showed 1.9 metres from dead south at just 6 seconds apart. So, as the pictures show, it was in the knee to maybe waist high range and very weak. Conditions were not being improved by the incoming tide (1.46m high at 0655). The only people I saw in the water were 3 or 4 at Kiddies.

The marine forecast tells us to expect the wind to be S-SE 15-25 kts today along with an 80% chance of showers.

Water’s still sitting on 16C.

Sunny conditions are set to resume tomorrow, plus the wind should be more SW. The Bureau and most of the models are indicating a 10-11 Sec half-metre east swell too, so there could be the odd little line on mid-tide. Monday-Tuesday mornings’ outlook is about the same. Beyond that the only hope for an improvement doesn’t appear on the predictions until Sunday-ish.

Have a top old Saturday and stay happy everyone!
