Tiny lines at the point and at the beach 0630

Hello Friends,
Looks like a few waves around at the magnets this morning. Dee Why was seeing the occasional waist to maybe chest high line at 0630. Sets were frequent enough to lure a few bods to the point, although I didn’t see anyone catch a wave when I took the pics. Checking a few cams, it seems that there are interesting looking lines getting into places like Curly and Av.
The 0400 MHL data showed 1.6 metres of 9-second energy from the SSE (158°). Wind was coming lightly from the ENE. It should be into the 15-25 kt range from the NE by early afternoon. Tide was low at 0610 and is currently running into a 1.85 m high at 1230. It should be sunny all day as we head to a high of 29.

The Goat’s rolled out his predictions for the week ahead, so scroll down for a read of his deep wisdom.

Have a great Friday one and all!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system in the Tasman sea will continue strengthening today resulting in onshore winds for the New South Wales coast. A weak trough looks set to bring a brief southerly change to the southern half of the coast on Saturday, followed by another on Sunday. Neither of these is likely to reach the northern coast, due to the presence of the high over the Tasman Sea.
