Surf forecast issued Thursday 11 April 2019: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Not much happening for surfing over the weekend.

But if you feel like swimming from Newport to Avalon Beach on Sunday – and who doesn’t? – conditions should be ideal.

Friday: around 1 metre or so at places that get dead South swell, not much at other places

Saturday: 1 metre or less of dead South swell

Sunday: 1 metre or less of dead South swell to gently roll you to Av from Newport

Monday: 1 metre or less of East South East

Tuesday: coming up a little, say 1-1+ metres East South East

Wednesday: in the 1-2 metre range South East

Thursday: down slightly in the 1-2 metre range East South East.
