The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast issued Thursday 6 June 2019: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

Wave size is declining somewhat though there were still some hefty ones around today.

Although it will be going down gradually there looks like being a distinct pulse through the week from time to time from the South…left overs as a result of the length of fetch of waves pushed along by the steady winds of that great big High in the pic… (some sizable swell appears to have even made it all the way up to FNQ and New Guinea)

Friday: around 2-3 metres at places that take dead South swell, maybe more with sets

Saturday: around 2, 2+ metres dead South, with sets

Sunday: down around 1, 1+ metres dead South but maybe some sets

Monday: Only 1ish metre or so but a little pulse continuing from the South

Tuesday: around 1ish metre but there could still be a little power in the waves

Wednesday: ditto

Thursday: around 1 metre or so North East.

Have a good one.
