Clean little waves early

Hello Friends,

A beautiful morning along the beaches for Monday. The waves have faded overnight, but there are still little knee to waist plus options along the beach. I saw one possibly rideable set come through the point, but it’s probably not the most productive spot given the conditions. Wind was chilly and offshore. The Bureau says the swell will pick up from the east and the wind will stay out of the westerly quarters. Right now it’s a metre at 8 seconds from the SSE.

The tide’s high at 1025 and then back to low at 1615.

Yesterday’s sunny conditions and more of the same for today should result in the all clear for water quality. Beachwatch says the temp is 18C.

The models are showing reasonable prospects for fun little waves tomorrow and then it looks like a gradual fade to flatness by Friday. Right now the models are showing a blast of southerly wind and swell for mid-next weekend.

Have yourself a top old Monday everyone!
