Hello Friends,
The MHL buoy was showing 1.3 metres at 11 seconds from the east south east as Tuesday dawned. As you can see from the pictures, this meant there were waist and a bit wave faces on sets at the point and along the beach at the Dee Why end. Wind was light NW early. Ocean was about 18C and most beaches should be clean following the sunny weather of the last couple of days. Tide was low at 0500 and is currently coming into a high at 1115. Swell is set to fade toward the lunch time, so if your schedule permits, this morning’s the time to be looking for somewhere to get wet (and there should be a few options thanks to the swell direction and size.
Outlook is for surf of a modest sort across the rest of the week, a puny day Saturday and then a quick pulse out of the south for Sunday, with potenitally okay wind settings.
