A ridge of high pressure will remain the dominant synoptic feature for today and Thursday, briefly interrupted by the passage of a weak trough today. The next significant cold front looks set to arrive at the end of the week.

Variable about 10 knots becoming northwest to northeasterly 10 to 15 knots in the late afternoon then tending west to southwesterly in the evening.
Around 1 metre.
Easterly 1 to 1.5 metres.
Thursday 5 September
Southwesterly 10 to 15 knots becoming variable about 10 knots in the morning.
Below 1 metre.
Easterly around 1 metre.
Friday 6 September
Northeasterly 15 to 25 knots shifting west to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots during the afternoon.
Around 1 metre, increasing to 1.5 to 2 metres during the morning.
Northeast to southeasterly around 1 metre.
