Super smoky

Hello Friends,

UPDATE from Longy

Bomb set at Longy 0800
Crew at Longy under heavily smoky skies 0800
Micro and probably equivalent to smoking a ciggie or two

Very heavy smoke pollution this morning. So polluted in fact that I couldn’t see the beach from a kilometre away. The MHL buoy is showing 1.2 metres of SE at 11 seconds apart as of 0400. Wind was N-NE at 2 kts as of 0730. Next tide is a high at 1115.

Today’s Goat’s forecast day, so I shall defer to his mightyness and await his words of surf wisdom later today…

I’ll try to update with a picture or two from the beach in the next hour.
