Weak and knee to waist this morning

Hello Friends,

Did the Manly run again this morning, so herewith a few snaps from the northbound leg (0830-0850). Basically it looked gutless everywhere and the wind was just starting to texture it up too. Still, there were little moments to be had, so it’s definitely not flat.

First stop was North Steyne (acutally between there and Queensie) where a gaggle of hopefuls were wringing the odd knee to waist high section out of the wimpy swell.

Swell’s coming from 162° at 10 seconds with heights at sea of 1.6 metres according to the latest MHL data (0700), wind was just coming up from the NE when I stopped by Curly. The most interesting stuff was in the middle of the stretch, but there were people all the way along the beach and set wave faces were getting toward the chest high mark.

Dee Why was kinda half way between Manly and Curly in terms of size, but it did look a bit bigger up toward Long Reef…

Long Reef through the haze. Looks waist and a bit and busy
