Hello Friends,
Knee to waist high along the Dee Why stretch this morning with clean, smooth surface conditions, light wind at 0730, sunny skies and a faint breeze from the north that should go NE by late morning. At 0500 the MHL buoy was seeing 1.2 metres from the SSE at 10 seconds apart. Tide was high at 0730 when I grabbed the snaps, but waves didn’t look too fat. It’s a low key set of variables, but you should be able to jag the odd little bump at lots of beaches with decent south exposure. Going to a high along the coast of 27 and we can expect smoke haze – which means we have a particulate/ozone warning.
Enjoy the little waves this morning if you can. Tomorrow we’re expected to have a very hot day and only short period, sub-1 metre bump. It looks like the tiny, short period stuff will run into next week unfortunately.
Get up to some good!
A POOR Air Quality Forecast alert issued by the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) due to forecast elevated particle and ozone levels in Sydney for Wednesday.
