That was unusual.
Having written it off, I didn’t look at the beach again until late in the afternoon on my bike ride around the lake and out to Dee Why.
There were 16 people in the water and a similar number scattered north from Kiddies toward the pole and set wave faces were solidly head high. It was kinda fat and lumpy and slow though. People were struggling to get into fairly biggish sets at the point and then they’d have to kinda grovel to stay with the sections. Most waves faded pretty quickly after being caught. So, not great quality. But there were waves! So yay for that.
I grabbed a pic…this rider kinda bogged out a few seconds later as you can kinda infer from the flatness of the face.
