Saturday Surf Report

The southerly has come through all Sydney beaches now, after passing the far south side around 6.30, blowing out the 1 metre waves leftover from yesterday.  It will bring up some south swell over the days ahead, but today won’t do anything for the surf.

Wind is strong with gusts of 70 ks at North Head.

Low tide was at 7.

If you want to get wet and have a swim try protected southern corners.  The water temp is 22,23 and the water is crystal clear. And there are lots of other ways to exercise if you’re not sick.

Just for info, following the Council of Australian Governments meeting yesterday SLSA has announced that the 2020 Australian SLS Championships due to be held at Kurrawa Qld 18-26 April have been cancelled due to COVID 19.

And the WSL events for March have been cancelled.

The good news is the world will keep turning, the sun will come out, the winds will blow and there will be waves

Stay well.
