- I need to practice social-distancing from the refrigerator.
- Still haven’t decided where to go for Easter —– The Living Room or The Bedroom
- every few days try your jeans on just to make sure they fit. Pajamas will have you believe all is well in the kingdom.
- Homeschooling is going well. 2 students suspended for fighting and 1 teacher fired for drinking on the job.
- I don’t think anyone expected that when we changed the clocks we’d go from Standard Time to the Twilight Zone
- This morning I saw a neighbor talking to her cat. It was obvious she thought her cat understood her. I came into my house, told my dog….. we laughed a lot.
- Quarantine Day 5: Went to this restaurant called THE KITCHEN. You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have no clue how this place is still in business.
- My body has absorbed so much soap and disinfectant lately that when I pee it cleans the toilet.
- Day 5 of Homeschooling: One of these little monsters called in a bomb threat.
- I’m so excited — it’s time to take out the garbage. What should I wear?
- I hope the weather is good tomorrow for my trip to Puerto Backyarda. I’m getting tired of Los Livingroom.
- Classified Ad: Single man with toilet paper seeks woman with hand sanitizer for good clean fun.
- Day 6 of Homeschooling: My child just said “I hope I don’t have the same teacher next year”…. I’m offended.
- Better 6 feet apart than 6 feet under.

Hmm seems pretty clear.
Re this exercise thing…the government has said they don’t want people going on hols at Easter spreading the virus up and down the coast, so if you’re thinking maybe “surfing” in Sydney… then on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, the only place where some beaches aren’t currently closed, here’s the Council (and by inference Police) message if you haven’t seen it…
Northern Beaches Council closing beaches, restricting parking, until after the Easter long weekend
Manly Beach and Dee Why Beach will be closed from Tuesday morning following advice from NSW health authorities that both areas have become hotspots for community transmissions of COVID-19.
Effective from Tuesday 7 April, Dee Why Beach, Manly, Shelley Beach, North Steyne and Queenscliff beaches will be closed until after the Easter long weekend. The closures will be reviewed on Tuesday 14 April ahead of any decision to reopen them then.
In addition, all beach car parks on the Northern Beaches will be limited to 1 hour parking, from Tuesday 7 April.
Whilst all other beaches and reserves remain open at this time, they will also be closed if people do not observe social distancing rules, including no gatherings or loitering. The beaches are for exercise only.
Mayor Michael Regan said Council is following the advice of the Prime Minister, Premier and the Health Orders in maintaining public areas are open for exercise.
“The message has been pretty clear, stay at home unless you need to go out for essentials, work or exercise. It’s simply not right that some people are just not following the rules which is making it harder for others,” Mayor Regan said.
“Council’s Rangers, Lifeguards and staff along with Police are trying to ensure that everyone’s health and safety is protected here, so we are asking the community to help us keep our beaches and reserves open for exercise only and by doing the right thing here.
“If people continue to hang out and loiter, we will have no choice but to keep closing the beaches like we have been over the past few weeks.”
TG can tell you:
“loitering” includes lying on the beach and sunbaking, which is not being counted as “exercise”; and
The 1 hour parking signs say “No exceptions” Ie your NBC parking sticker won’t help you avoid a fine or worse if you’re from say Manly, DY or elsewhere headed for points north.
