The Goat’s Surf Forecast Etc

Surf forecast issued Thursday 16 April 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

TG has been contemplating his navel.  I don’t know if it’s an optical illusion or not, but it seems to be getting bigger!

When the surf is any good, (or when it might be suitable for him), he doesn’t bother,  because it’s crowded.

Normally at this time of year a lot of families (or himself) would have gone away… up or down the coast, interstate, or overseas… but they haven’t for public health reasons. So they are all here, at the few beaches where surfing is still currently allowed.

Purely in the interest of public health during these school hols, he feels obliged to pass on to you that the Copper Chopper has been regularly checking beaches and parking areas for crowding, police patrol cars have been doing random checks of car regos for out of area people to please explain, and beaches that get too crowded have been closed.

Yes it’s all a pain.  But it could be worse, and no pain, no gain as they say.
