The Goat’s Surf Forecast
Surf forecast issued Thursday 30 April 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Just when you thought it’s time to get back in the water… along comes a chilly blast from way down south.
Kids are gearing up for school, parents are gearing up for work… Lots of people exercising in the water today. But let’s see how many there are out there tomorrow. Good luck to them! Not this little duck. I’m now officially a Fair Weather Surfer. It’s official ’cause I say so.
Anyway for others who are younger, fitter, or thicker skinned than I am…… Hang on, the weather looks like it’ll warm up a little after a couple of days…But the surf will be bigger. So many things to think about!
Friday: down a little from today, say around 1 ish metres
Saturday: around 1 metre or less, or even flat
Sunday: coming up at dead South places, say 2, 2+ metres
Monday: up some more, 2-3 metre range dead South
Tuesday: easing back , 2-2+ metres South East
Wednesday: 1-2 metre range South East
Thursday: around 1 ish metres dead South
Stay warm, Stay safe. Stay well. Stay yourself.
