"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Smaller, cleaner and crowded

Hello Friends,

Swell at sea is back down to 1.3 metres at 8-9 seconds from the SE this morning, but there were still chest plusses along the beach for the healthy crew who turned out for the dawn patrol. The point was less consistent and generally smaller, but it was getting the odd fun one. Conditions were smooth thanks to a light offshore breeze and skies are once again sunny. Low tide was a little after 0630 and it will be back to high around half past 12. Skies are set to stay sunny as we head to a high of 22C. Ocean is on 20C and the sunny conditions should knock down many of the pathogens in the surface layer of the inshore waters.
The Goat will be along later today with his usual look ahead for the surf week to come, so check in later. In the meantime, have yourself a good one.

Weather Situation
Winds and waves along the New South Wales coast have eased with the low pressure system over the northern Tasman Sea moving further away. A weak trough will skim the south today, bringing a weak southerly change along the southern half of the coast. In its wake, a high pressure system will gradually move over the state during Friday and Saturday. The next significant cold front is expected on Sunday and Monday, with winds generally increasing about the southern coast ahead of the front.
