Sunny and tiny again

Hello Friends, A nice morning along the beaches, but the waves have weakened a bit more overnight and it looked to be only just into the surfable range along the beach. Figure around the waist high mark on standouts. And of course we still have the very high ratio of shutdowns to makeable sections. Surface […]

Curly bumps

Heaps of people at Curly where waves are mostly waist to chest with the odd bigger ones in the mix. Surface a bit scrappy and makeable sections are rare and usually related to a momentary rip bowl. Main energy hitting the middle.

Busy little Manly

Made the Manly run this am and can report that it was a beautiful if crowded knee to waist high from mid to north Steyne. As with everywhere else, the banks are shutting down more than anything else. Great patience required.

Sunny and busy Sunday

Postcards from Curly

Near flat at Manly but waist to chest high waves for those at a fairly crowded Curly.

Barely there at Dee Why this morning

Hello Friends, Surf has faded out this morning. There were a few hopefuls at the point and one of them even caught a sub-knee high bump for a few metres, but there’s just not enough energy in the system for Dee Why. Out at sea the waverider buoy was registering about a metre at 10-11 […]
