The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 4 June 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

A bit of a mixed bag of weather and waves coming up for the Long Weekend and next week.

Friday: 2-2.5 metres South South East

Saturday: 1.5-2 metres South East

Sunday: around 1 metre or so dead South

Monday: coming up again  around 2 metres or so at dead South spots, but waves will possibly get into protected corners >>

Tuesday: >> but short lived, and down again in the 1-2 metre range South South East

Wednesday: about 1 metre due South

Thursday: 1 metre or less South East

If you’re learning, don’t go into surf that looks rough.  It is. And there are plenty of rips around. The cold air and wind will sap your energy faster than you might think.  So stay safe. Surf within your ability, fitness and age range.

Have a good one.
