Really small Thursday morning

Hello Friends,
Another icy (in Sydney terms) start to a beautiful sunny day in Sydney. Air temp at RealSurf HQ was around the 7C mark which the brisk WNW breeze was making it feel closer to half that. Surface conditions looked super clean down at Dee Why but there were no signs of an expected midday pulse into the 2-3 m range from the south. I’ll be keeping an eye on it.
Tide was low at 0405 and is currently coming into the 1.38m high at 1007. We’re looking at a high of 15C and Beachwatch reports water temp continues to be 17C.
Check back later for the latest from the Goat, and have a great day.

Weather Situation
Strong west to southwesterly winds will gradually ease today and then turn northeasterly on Friday as a high pressure ridge moves overhead and a low pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea moves further away to the east. Meanwhile, a broad low pressure system is forecast to gradually move across New South Wales on Friday, reaching the Tasman Sea later on Saturday, causing winds to strengthen along the southern half of the coast.
