Small under heavy cloud and approaching rain

Hello Friends,

Wind was light from the SW as Friday got started. There are little waves in the knee to waist and a bit range this morning at Dee Why. Swell at sea was 1.9 metres from the south at 11 seconds apart. The next tide is a 1.38 m high at 1045 (low will be at 1625). We’re going to a high of 16 today with a 100% chance of rain. The Bureau’s advising that it’ll be 15-30mm of the wet stuff.
Outlook you ask? Well, >the ever reliable Goat has you covered.
Go well one and all!

Weather Situation
A ridge of high pressure extends along the New South Wales coast today as a complex low moves away to the east and another low approaches from the west. A trough is forecast to cross the coast early Saturday, deepening a low centre off the southern coast later Saturday and during Sunday. This low looks set to bring increased winds and waves to southern parts of the coast during the weekend.
