"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Micro but beautiful Wednesday

Hello Friends,

Looking nearly flat at Dee Why this morning. If you’re really patient, there might be the occasional ankle to knee high set. It might be a tiny bit bigger at better NE exposures, but I wouldn’t be overly hopeful. Out at sea the buoy is seeing a touch under a metre of 9+ second bumb from the ENE. As of 0710 wind was out of the NNW at 4-5 kts. It’s set to go around to the west and pick up as the day goes along, at the same time the tiny swell will get tinier as the tide comes into a relatively high 1.66m tide at 1255. It should be a sunny day, getting to a high of 24 and the water ought to be around the 18C mark. Dunno about you, but it’s looking like a bike ride day for your webmaster.
This morning’s swell models are pointing to continued microness until (maybe) late Saturday afternoon when a fresh south pulse could start filling in.
Go well with your Wednesday everyone, and take that mask when you head out.
