Surf forecast issued Thursday 15 October 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
Today the weather was beautiful, but the surf when I saw it was very windy and ordinary with few takers.
The surf outlook is for small to medium surf over the weekend and into next week, while the weather outlook according to the BoM is for lots of wind changes and a mixed bag of showers and partly cloudiness.
Which means there could be some OK waves at times, but quality will likely depend on the fickleness of the winds, so stay alert for your opportunities..
Friday: down a little from Thursday, say around 1- 1+ metres East then coming up a little with southerly winds, say in the 1-2 metre range at places open to the South
Saturday: down in the 1-2 metre range South East, then up a bit later in the 1-2 metre range South East
Sunday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range East North East, down at first, then up
Monday: around 1ish – 1+ metres East South East
Tuesday: around 1ish metres or less East South East
Wednesday: ditto South East
Thursday: ditto East, then starting to come up later.
