Fat and knee to waist

Hello Friends,

Another cloudy sky start for the first morning of summer. There are little knee to waist high waves getting into Dee Why thanks to 1.3 metres of 9-second SE windswell. Tide hits a swampy 1.77 metre high at 0930 as we head into a mostly sunny and windy day thanks to 20-30 kts of N-NE wind. It’s going to 29C along the coast. Water’s clean and sitting on 21C.
The Bureau tells us that we can expect the wind swell to fade make to a metre as the morning goes along.
The stiff NE’r may push up a little bumpy windswell overnight, but it’s not looking too hopeful for anything above the waist high mark at the semi-sheltered north corners. The open, onshore stretches will likely be bigger but very messy.
The Wavewatch model is still showing an influx of 10-11 sec south swell on Friday, but it’s predicting under a metre, so I’m only a little hopeful for something interesting turning up. Between now and then the prospects are not great, so if you spot something, pounce on it.
Have a great Tuesday everyone!

Distinct windswell lines, but very small
