The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 10 December 2020: Seven day outlook for Sydney:

As TG sits contemplating his ever increasing navel, there are dark clouds scudding across the sky driven by a gusty gutsy South wind that has brought a hitherto lovely day to a crunch. And I think he fears it might be more of the same for a few days.

The wind will bring up the surf from one direction then another, depending on what a Low expected to develop up north does after the weekend.  But this is what the surf outlook currently looks like being:

Friday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range at places open to dead South swell, with wind behind it

Saturday: ditto South/South East, ditto

Sunday: ditto South East, and then East with the onshore wind behind it

Monday: ditto North East, depending what the Low up north does

Tuesday: let’s not get too excited yet so let’s say 2 ish metres North East, maybe more, ditto proviso

Wednesday: 2 ish 2 ish + metres North East, ditto proviso

Thursday: say around 2 ish metres, and you know ~~

BTW, For info and for your online entertainment and Christmas shopping needs, the silent auction to bid for a surf experience with TC… that’s TC, not TG!… or bid for a Slater Design / Firewire/ Hydroshort/ Tomo board, or a framed jersey of surfing champ Stephanie Gilmore, and heaps more stuff that you might be interested in, finishes this Sunday… so you might want to get in quick.

More details at the end of the forecast, as it finishes on Sunday. Did I say that already?

TG.
