Murky morning with a few little waves

Hello Friends,

Hazy and close as Thursday got started. Skies were more cloudy than not and the breeze was coming lightly from the NNE as of 0700.The wind should be into the 15-25 kt range by this afternoon. Waves looked to be in the waist to chest plus range at Dee Why. Out at sea the swell was running around 1.75 m at 6-7 seconds from the NE.

While you can definitely get a soft windswell wave this morning, be warned that the water is likely to be affected by run-off pollution.

Outlook you ask? Well, can you wait until this afternoon? That’s when the mighty Goat usually drops his latest weekend and week ahead surf forecast.  I wonder if he’ll share the optimism of some swell models for Sunday-Monday….

BTW, I’ve copied in the COVID-19 warning notice from Council (see below pictures).
