"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Minor on Monday

Hello Friends,

A warm beginning to the day with light SW wind under stormy looking skies. There were people in the water at Dee Why where waves looked to be in the ankle to knee high range. The offshore buoys were showing 1.4 metres of 7 second east wind bump. The Bureau tells usĀ  a southerly will rattle through the place this morning,. We’ll see the wind getting into the 20-30 kts and some south wind bump following it in. Weather could see a few showers developing and maybe thunder and lightning later.

The swell models don’t have much to offer us this morning. It looks as though we’re in for sub 10-second wind swell for the next week. So probably not absolutely flat, but not all that inspiring either.

Have a good one and keep the mask handy for when you’re around others in public places.
