The Goat’s Surf Forecast and New Year Message
Seven day outlook for Sydney: Forecast issued 1 January 2021:
Hey hey!…. It’s New Year’s Day!
Some sunshine would be nice, but it doesn’t look that way.
Weather and winds from way out in the Pacific are expected to drop some more water on your head, water the garden, and make the crops grow in the coming days.
So we’ll just have to make the best of it.
Surf Outlook
The surf looks like being a bit of a mixed bag, onshore winds affecting the surf early on, with wind changes producing some southerly surface movement later on for a bit of variety~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Saturday: around the lower end of the 1-2 metre range South East
Sunday: dittoish North East/East
Monday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range East/ North East
Tuesday: 1-2, 2 ish metres South East
Wednesday: upper end of the 1=2metre range South East
Thursday: ditto East South East
Friday: ditto.

For TG, he will plan on the basis that plans may have to be changed – at the last minute.
Spontaneity, Flexibility and Being Prepared are TG’s Key Words for 2021… in the surf and out of it.. as well as focusing on Staying Safe and Healthy.
He said as he raced out the door: If you don’t stay focused on the last items you won’t be able to do anything else.
