Pretty much in line with expectations this morning, as the picture shows. So, you need to be super keen to get in. Wind was 13-17 kts south as of 0830, swell at sea was 2.25 metres from the SSE at 8 seconds apart. Wave faces along the beach were in the waist to shoulder high range on the bigger ones. But quality, as you can see, was not good.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight currently extends a ridge along the New South Wales coast, and is bringing southerly winds to the region. The high will drift slowly east during the next few days, and is expected to be over the Tasman Sea by Sunday. This movement will be accompanied by a gradual shift to east to northeasterly winds in most coastal areas on the weekend, before a trough generates a southerly change early next week.
