Hello Friends,
Not a great morning for a surf really. There are some scrappy waist plusses thanks to nearly 2 metres of 8 second ESE windswell, but quality is poor thanks to a weak period and 10 kts of SE wind. Water should be ok anywhere away from lagoon entrances and the temperature is around 21C.
Outlook is not too fabulous. Today isn’t likely to improve and tomorrow looks like it may be smaller, but with lighter wind for the early. Out beyond that I’m not too excited by prospects for our corner of the coast. If the models have it right, we’re in for a week of micro to flat conditions. Hope they’re wrong!

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge along the New South Wales coast. The high will drift slowly east during the next few days, and this movement will be accompanied by a gradual shift to east to northeasterly winds in most coastal areas through the weekend. A trough may bring a brief southerly change to the southern coast early next week, with a more substantial change likely during the second half of the week.
