The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Friday 2 September 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

TG is unimpressed with the weather, again!

“It’s 14 degrees, and a cold Southerly wind is holding the apparent temperature hostage at 8!

We were enjoying 29 degree sunny days… Why did you bring me back??!!”

No idea.

Surf outlook

The whining wind wasn’t doing much to increase the dead South swell size today from around the 2 metre mark.

But the swell size, and the wind behind it, should be up more tomorrow. You might like that if cold wind, cold water, windblown surf is your thing. Otherwise stay in bed.

Saturday: somewhere in the 2-3 metre range at dead South spots

Sunday: Not the weather of surf for Dad’s Day… ditto South East.

Monday: around 2-2+ metres South East

Tuesday: similar size, but more due South so it might look like it’s gone down more than it has

Wednesday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range South/South East

Thursday: ditto South East

Friday: ditto North East.

Have a good Dad’s Day with the kids.

TG.
