"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Blowy and tiny

Hello Friends,

The southerly kicked in around 0800 and an hour later it was 13-18 kts at North Head. The Bureau has posted a warning for deceptively powerful surf conditions this evening, but as the pictures show, there was no sign of anything in the way of big swell at Dee Why.

There’s a surf warning for tomorrow as well along with light and variable winds for the early (although weather will continue showery). Swell’s due to be south still, so options will be limited to the magnets.

Have a great Tuesday and go well with your day.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system will slowly move east across Bass Strait with a southerly airstream pushing along the coastline. This high will reach the Tasman Sea on Wednesday, allowing winds to tend north to northeasterly. A cold front will pass later on Thursday with fresh to strong northerly winds, leading way to westerly winds in its wake.
