"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Clearing skies and lumpy size

Hello Friends,

No one in the water to speak of from Manly to Dee Why as of 0900. There’s a 2.3 metre 8-sec east wind swell coming in, so there are some reasonable size faces at the better exposures, but as you can see from the pics, the 15-20 kt NNE wind was smashing the open stretches. The wind’s supposed to continue like this through the morning, but from midday the Bureau says it should swing SW.  So, not early but maybe this afternoon… possibly…

Tide hits the 1.6 metre high at 1150 and swell is set to continue and possibly even get a bit bigger. Water quality is fine and temp is sitting on 19C.

Outlook… well, happily the Goat has a few thoughts for us on that score.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system near New Zealand will continue to direct east to northeasterly winds along the coast early this morning. A front will bring a south to southwesterly change to the coast during today. Winds will then ease over the weekend as a new high moves over the region.
