Scrappy Sunday for the keen

Hello Friends,

At 1000 wind was out of the south at 8-10 kts and swell was 1.3 metres at 13 seconds from the east. Dee Why was well attended despite the messy, bumpy sideshore conditions. Sets were rare but the bigger ones were still pushing into the shoulder plus range. Weather was partly cloudy and 19.

From the look of the marine forecast, this is about as good as it gets surf and weather wise for the next couple of days. The models show a small east swell for Wednesday with offshore wind but between now and then it looks like more rain and onshores.

Have a top old Sunday everyone!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system sprawled across southeast Australia is promoting light to moderate winds through northern coastal waters today while a trough moves along southern and central waters today and Monday before stalling and weakening as a high moves into the Tasman Sea. This high will remain slow-moving thereafter, directing fresh to strong northeasterly winds along the coast through to the weekend.
