The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Friday 12 May 2023: Seven day outlook for Sydney

What a rip snorter of a day today (Friday) was. Sunny all day..Warm air from late morning to after the middle of the day when a cool Northerly started to chill the air in the shade. Waves around with several people enjoying them, though as a result of the surf conditions we’ve had ealireer in the week,  some banks have been rearranged… so where there were waves before, there’s some deep holes now, and breaks are in different spots. Water temp was said to be warm but TG didn’t get a chance to test it.

The surf outlook is for swell size to decrease tomorrow with  plenty of small to medium waves, thru to Wednesday when a southerly is expected to bring wind and swell with it…

Saturday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range South East going down through the day. IRB carnival on at Queenscliff >>>Go Av!

Sunday: round 1 ish metres East

Monday: ditto South East

Tuesday: ditto East at dead South spots

Wednesday: starting to come up at places open to dead South, ranging  through say 1-2 metres, 2-2+ metres due South during the day

Thursday: eased back to somwhere in the 1-2 metre range at dead South spots

Friday: in the 1-2 metre range South East

Enjoy, if and when you can…

Grit your teeth. if and when you can’t…. And try to think nice thoughts about those who can… and count your blessings.. 🙂

Happy Birthday Roy!

Your shout tomorrow night.

TG.
