Chilly little waves for the solstice

Hello Friends,

Sunny skies as Wednesday got started, but gee you’d need to be keen to paddle out given the air temp of 4.5°C and the 9-12 kts of wind, the temperature on wet skin would be a wee bit brisk. Although yesterday started dead flat, a little S-SE pulse started delivering waves later. This morning sees 1.5 metres of 9-sec SE energy with waves at Dee Why point mostly in the waist-ish plus range but likely with the odd shoulder-ish set wave.

The outlook is for a weakening of energy levels later today, but then the Bureau says we could have another little uptick which should mean a repeat of this morning’s offerings for tomorrow’s early session. Beyond that, the models are showing marginal to maybe something on the weekend and then after another lull, there is the prospect of south pulse into the metre plus range indicated around Tue-Wed. Your mileage may vary!

Have yourself a fine old Wednesday everyone!
