"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Small to tiny

Hello Friends,

Sunny with a light SW  just texturing the remnant eat wind swell. It’s now down to about a metre at sea with a period of 9 seconds. At the better exposures there were very occasional waist plusses, but expect to be sitting around a fair amount.

Tomorrow looks like being smaller again, but maybe mal-able at the best exposures. From midweek onward it looks as though we are facing at least a couple of days of southerly conditions where the swello ramps up, but the period stays under 10 seconds and the wind’s on top of it from the get go while skies are gloomy. Saturday currently looks slightly hopeful while Sun-Mon are very hopeful (for now).

Go well!

Weather Situation

A trough over the northeast of the state gradually weakens during today as a high pressure system drifts across the region. A cold front is expected to reach western districts later Tuesday then continue through the east on Wednesday. Following this, a low developing over the Tasman Sea near the end of the week is likely to reinforce southerly winds and generate increased swells.
